Program Management

CVM Solutions provides a Program Management service to help customers with the deployment of successful supplier management programs. Many customers prefer to outsource the management of these programs to CVM instead of managing them in-house because supplier management programs require considerable allocation of resources to manage. The resource level requirement is based on a few primary factors including:

  • The number of suppliers to be managed in the system.
  •
  • The types of programs being executed.
  •
  • The complexity of programs being executed.

CVM Program Management service includes the following:

Communication Program

Frequent communication with suppliers is required to ensure supplier’s compliance with the program. Communication is required to inform suppliers of your program and invite them to participate, to inform them that they need to respond in a timely manner and comply with the requests. A significant amount of time is also devoted to assisting suppliers with questions about the program.

A High Level of Consistent Follow-up

Supplier management programs that achieve a high level of compliance do so by aggressively following up with suppliers that have not responded in a timely manner. This includes written communications as well as phone calls when appropriate. A consistent follow-up effort is the key to compliance.

Initial and Ongoing Training

Suppliers that are invited to report in the application have to be trained on use of the application as well as client-specific requirements. Additionally, ongoing training is required to accommodate staff turnover suppliers.
