CVM Diversity Central technology module focuses on managing supplier diversity programs through the automated finding, gathering, reporting, and analyzing of diverse suppliers and related information. CVM Diversity Central includes a robust Tier 2 spend reporting system that enables the capture and analysis of Tier 2 diversity spend. Prime suppliers can quickly report their diverse spend using the easy to use supplier portal. Additionally, the system has advanced reporting capabilities that allow users to create “custom” reports that contain the supplier diversity data elements that are relevant to any particular audience.
CVM Diversity Central includes access to the CVM Master Supplier Database that provides a diverse and small business sourcing directory that is searchable. Because we update and maintain the database daily, it contains the most accurate information available on the largest number of diverse and small-business suppliers. This tool is particularly helpful to procurement and sourcing departments that don’t have time to identify potential small and/or diverse-business suppliers for sourcing opportunities.
A critical capability of CVM Diversity Central is the unique approach to Tier 2 reporting. The application utilizes customizable templates for program announcements, notification to Primes suppliers that the system is open for reporting, and to acknowledge that Tier 2 reports have been received. The application also reminds Prime suppliers to submit their report before the Reporting Period closes. The automated communication functionality also includes a mail-merge component that facilitates communication with Prime suppliers that are reporting in the application.
CVM Diversity Central also includes advanced reporting tools specifically designed for supplier diversity programs. The application has functionality that provides the ability to track Tier 2 spend by Prime suppliers for specific business units, against specific contracts or against specific projects. The application is sophisticated and flexible enough to collect reporting by a combination of business unit and contract level.
