Kevin Jeras
Director Accenture Procurement Services
Kevin has been with Accenture since 1998 and brings deep experiences in procurement, supply chain management and building new business within the Firm. Kevin was one of the founding executives of Accenture Procurement Solutions (APS), joining the team in the pre-launch phase on 2003 and was instrumental in building APS’s early operational capabilities. His current responsible include defining managing the offerings and technologies used to deliver services to our clients and supporting major sales initiatives.
Kevin has also served in executive leadership roles of two Accenture-owned subsidiaries, first as COO of a seed-stage venture capital fund (GameChange) which focused on extracting intellectual property out of the Firm on which to launch independent companies, and most recently as President & COO of Epylon which provided outsourced procurement services and technologies to the government and education sectors.
Prior to joining Accenture Kevin spent 5 years in management consulting at Gemini Consulting and The SCA Group, providing operational strategy and reengineering services to assist clients in achieving higher performance efficiencies. Kevin has also worked as a Quality Engineer and Cost Account Manager for General Dynamics Space Systems.

and is co-founder of the procurement and supply chain research hub: Spend Matters Navigator. Jason is regarded as one of the leading pundits and thought leaders in the procurement and operations worlds and has worked with hundreds of practitioners and providers to help define and sell next generation products and solutions.
His current research and interest areas include the future of global sourcing, supply risk management, supplier performance management, and the growth of communities of interest and online social networking within the procurement and operations worlds. Previously, he spent five years at FreeMarkets leading a variety of corporate development, marketing, product strategy and sourcing initiatives. He started his career in consulting and finance and holds a graduate degree in history from the University of Pennsylvania.

Jim leads Procurement and Business Contracts at the University of California, San Francisco. He has 25 years of experience in operations strategy, supply chain, sourcing, and procurement, both in consulting and line management positions. Prior to joining UCSF he worked for several leading management consultancies including CSC Index, The Boston Consulting Group, and Huron
Consulting. He received BA and MBA degrees from Stanford University. He enjoys snowboarding and fly fishing.
Dean Edwards Vice President and Chief Procurement Officer, Kaiser Permanente
Dean Edwards is the Chief Procurement Officer for Kaiser Permanente (KP). He leads the Procurement and Supply (PS) division, a multi-functional, organization managing procurement and a supply chain that provides KP with many of the products and services it needs. PS works across KP to determine real business needs and implement strategies to meet those needs.
Edwards has over 22 years of experience in various procurement-related leadership positions. Prior to joining KP, Edwards served as Cadbury Schweppes' vice president of Procurement for the Americas (2002 - 2004) where he centralized procurement operations across North America, creating strategic capability around procurement. Edwards was also involved in delivering synergistic savings as a result of the integration of Adam’s Confectionery with Cadbury Schweppes after its acquisition in 2003.
Edwards was with SmithKline Beecham/Glaxo SmithKline for 10 years (1992 – 2002), during which he headed up their Marketing and Sales Purchasing team for the United States and led the procurement effort to facilitate change to direct-to-consumer marketing. Edwards also established and led the Purchasing function for SmithKline's subsidiary, Diversified Pharmaceutical Services, making them one of the first Pharmaceutical Benefit Management companies to adopt strategic purchasing.
Edwards has worked in Procurement in several other industries, including banking (Credit Suisse First Boston), hotels (Hilton U.K.), food processing (H.J. Heinz) and automotive (Rover Car Group).
Edwards is an active member of the Conference Board for the Procurement Stream, the Institute for Supply Management (ISM), and CPO Roundtables as well as a board member of Broadlane. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from the University of Leicester in England and lives in Pleasanton with his wife and three children.
