Joseph Hill, Jr. EVP Global Strategic Sourcing
Executive, Bank of America
Joseph D. Hill, Jr., Global Strategic Sourcing Executive for Bank of America, is responsible for Bank of America’s international supply chain initiatives and activities, including domestic and international diverse supplier development and revenue generation.
Since joining Bank of America in 1985, Hill has held several senior management roles including, business marketing and quality and productivity for the company’s Commercial Customer segment. Previously, he served as the Florida Commercial Bank executive and Florida Small Business executive from 1993 to 2000.
Hill received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Rockhurst College in Kansas City, Missouri and attended the executive MBA program at Queens College in Charlotte, North Carolina. He is also a Six Sigma green belt.
Hill currently serves on the board of directors for the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC), the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), and the Minority Supplier Development - United Kingdom Council (MSDUK). He previously served on the Key Executive Council of Florida A&M University, the Florida Council on Economic Education and on the board of directors for Enterprise Florida and the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce.
Jason Busch Managing Director, Azul Partners
& Editor, Spend Matters
Jason Busch is Founder and Managing Director of Azul Partners, a boutique advisory firm. He is also Editor of the highly trafficked sourcing and supply chain blog www.spendmatters.com and is co-founder of the procurement and supply chain research hub: Spend Matters Navigator. Jason is regarded as one of the leading pundits and thought leaders in the procurement and operations worlds and has worked with hundreds of practitioners and providers to help define and sell next generation products and solutions.
His current research and interest areas include the future of global sourcing, supply risk management, supplier performance management, and the growth of communities of interest and online social networking within the procurement and operations worlds. Previously, he spent five years at FreeMarkets leading a variety of corporate development, marketing, product strategy and sourcing initiatives. He started his career in consulting and finance and holds a graduate degree in history from the University of Pennsylvania.

Aaron Blumenthal VP Supplier Diversity Manager, Lehman Brothers
Aaron J. Blumenthal is a vice president and head of Supplier Diversity at Lehman
Brothers. Prior to his work with the Firm’s Global Diversity & Inclusion initiatives,
Aaron spent three years in the Finance Treasury Division within the Creditor & Bank
Relations department. Previous to joining Lehman Brothers in 2000, Aaron worked
at McKinsey & Co. where he researched the online banking and brokerage
industries within that firm’s Banking and Securities practice.
Aaron attended Yeshiva University in New York City, earning both a Bachelor of
Science degree in business management and an Associate of Arts degree in
religious studies. Currently, he is pursuing his MBA at New York University’s Stern
School of Business, with expected graduation in May, 2009.

Marc Marini
Managing Director &
Chief Procurement Officer, Merrill Lynch
Marc Marini is Managing Director, chief procurement officer for Merrill Lynch. As head of Global Sourcing & Procurement Services he is responsible for the acquisition of all vendor related products and services for the firm (exceptions of real estate, legal, benefits, banking and auditing); Supplier Diversity; and all critical procurement tools. Main offices are located in New Jersey, London, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Singapore.
Previously Marc was head of Technology Sourcing and head of Strategic Vendor Management with responsibility for various cost efficiency initiatives including the establishment of the Off-Shore Outsourcing Program.
Prior to joining Merrill Lynch in 1999, Marc was with GE Capital Services where he was Chief Financial Officer for the Technology organization with responsibility for planning, cost management, project appropriations and Six Sigma projects. He was also Sourcing, Finance Manager.
Marc also has fifteen years of experience in the Aerospace industry with General Electric, Lockheed, and Martin Marietta in various financial, project and vendor management roles.
Marc earned a BS degree in Management from Penn State University and an MBA from Villanova University. He also earned lifetime Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) designation and Accounts Payable Management certification (A.P.M.).
