Keynote Speakers:

Mike Mannheimer, Vice President of Supply Chain Services & Chief Procurement Officer , Cox Enterprises

Mike Mannheimer is Vice President of Supply Chain Services and Chief Procurement Officer for Cox Enterprises, one of the nation’s leading media companies and providers of automotive services. He is responsible for the identification, development and management of supplier relationships across all Cox divisions. He also has responsibility for Cox’s Energy Management and Fleet Management departments and leads the “Cox Conserves” project – Cox’s energy conservation and environmental sustainability initiative. Prior to his current position, he served as Vice President of Materials Management for Cox Enterprises and as Director and Vice President of Materials Management for Cox Communications, the broadband communications subsidiary of Cox Enterprises.

Before joining Cox in 1980, Mike was Director of Engineering & Manufacturing for Olympic Manufacturing, a subsidiary of Sara Lee Corporation. Prior to emigrating from South Africa in 1978, he held various procurement, materials management, project management and production management positions in the steel and mining equipment manufacturing industries with The South African Iron and Steel Corporation (ISCOR) and FMC South Africa Ltd., a subsidiary of Philadelphia-based FMC Corporation. He served as a First Lieutenant with the South African Army in 1969.

Mike is a member of the National Cable Telecommunications Association (NCTA), Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE), the Conference Board Purchasing & Supply Leadership Council, the Institute for Supply Management (ISM), the ISM Senior Executive Forum, and the Purchasing Management Association of Georgia (PMAG). He also represents Cox as a founding member of the Conference Board’s Center for Corporate Citizenship and Sustainability. He is a past board and executive committee member of the Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council (GMSDC) and served in various positions on GMSDC programs, finance and certification committees. He has served as a member of the SCTE Materials Management Subcommittee on Barcoding.

Mike has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Natal in Durban, South Africa and holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Cape Town in Cape Town, South Africa. Born in Durban, South Africa, he became a U.S. citizen in 1984. He has lived in the Atlanta area since 1978 and is married with three daughters and a grand daughter.

Christopher A. Seeterlin
Global Sourcing Manager, Supplier Diversity Leader, GE Energy

Christopher A. Seeterlin, (Chris), is a 20-year veteran of the General Electric Company. Since joining GE’s Manufacturing Management Program in 1988 his career has progressed through roles in shop operations, manufacturing, sourcing, quality, program management and business development. In October 2006, Chris joined GE Energy’s Global Sourcing team as a Sourcing Manager and Supplier Diversity Leader. He is a Certified Black Belt, Certified Purchasing Manager and a member of the Georgia Governor’s Mentor Protégé Program Advisory Committee.

Chris is married to Maria Teresa, who is an Administrative Assistant at GE and they have one daughter, Liliana. Away from the office Chris enjoys landscaping, outdoor adventures and participating in community volunteer events.

Chris holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University in Houghton, Michigan. In 2007 he earned an Executive M.B.A. from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School in Atlanta, Georgia.
